IN a bid to find out businesses training needs, the Inverell Chamber of Commerce and Industry is conducting a survey.
President Anthony Michael (pictured right) said the reason for the survey was to help improve customer service and maintain a high standard of competency for employees.
“It is also being conducted to identify opportunities for training providers in the region to better meet the needs of business owners and their staff.
“Many people do need to travel for training, so we want to work out exactly what money is spent on travel and also the time that is spent not at work when employees are away for training.”
Mr Michael said questions in the survey were regarding staff training requirements, training providers and other aspects affecting business owners.
“It is a brief survey and we are hoping the business community will get involved,” he said.
The survey needs to be completed by Friday and is available online at www.surveygizmo.com/s/70298/inver ell-business-training-survey or if you don’t have access to the internet, hardcopies can be picked up from Anthony Michael at Payless Shoes.
