Nominations for the byelection closed on Thursday, with the order of candidates on the ballot sheet drawn at the Australian Electoral Commission’s Armidale office.
Nationals candidate Adam Marshall will appear second on the ballot sheet, followed by the Greens’ Dora Koops.
Country Labor candidate Herman Beyersdorf, who was the first to nominate with the AEC, had been listed as the fourth name on the ballot.
Inverell TAFE teacher and independent candidate Katherine Nicholson is fifth on the list, while Armidale Dumaresq mayor Jim Maher is sixth.
Upper House MP Fred Nile's fiancee Silvana Nero will contest the byelection for the Christian Democrats. She will appear last on the ballot paper.
The byelection will be held on May 25.
