Children’s services officer Leanne Schuhmacher said library staff were extremely pleased with the numbers for the first storytime session, which was attended by 15 children. Another 25 children attended Baby Bounce.
“Baby Bounce is a half hour session of songs, rhymes and stories for children from birth to approximately two years of age, and their parents or carers,” she said.
“Morning tea is provided for the children and the adults can enjoy a cuppa over a chat.
“Storytime is held at 11.15am on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and involves stories and a related craft activity that are suited to children from two to five years of age.”
Leanne said all sessions are free and there is no need to book in, simply turn up on the day.
