SATURDAY July 19 was The Inverell 4BBB (Mixed) Championship’s and the scratch winners were Liz Hobday and Karl Hobday, while the nett winners were Wendy Alexander and Brooke Sheppard with 44 points. The nett runners-up were Kerry Nicholson and Kevin Dawson with 41 points. The winner of the men’s single event was Ken Rainger with 35 points after a count-back from Simon Smith. Nearest the pins were Kerry Nicholson, Kevin Dawson, Steve Kent, Larry Finney and Joe Holahan.

Sunday was a single stableford, and this was taken out by John Foulcher with 36 points from Alex Wyper on 35 points. Nearest the pins were John Foulcher and Ian Jeffery.
The Tuesday veteran’s single stableford was taken out by Col Flood with 41 points after a count-back from Hans Mouthaan. Leon Fox, Dick Hudson and Ron Rampling all recorded 39 points. The vet’s monthly mug was decided and went to Alan Browett with a three round total of 96. Nearest the pins were Ross Tutt, Nick Heagney and Steve Tubb.
