The figures show a third straight year of entry level growth in the 5-7 years age group, and an overall growth of 6.9 per cent in football registrations across Northern NSW, with 55,825 players. It is the largest number of registered football players in Northern NSW since 2005.
The Northern Inland has seen a 2 per cent increase in entry level registrations this season, with 1333 players registered and playing each week in the 5-7 years age group.
There was a 4.5 per cent increase in junior football participation. Both entry level and junior football registrations account for approximately 58 per cent of overall player registrations across the Northern Inland.
