New England Mutual Branch Manager Alex Ribeiro said the program allows members to get behind local organisations and charities that are close to their hearts.
“New England Mutual’s Community Partnership Acc-ount allows our members to fundraise for local charities that they are passionate about, without the hard work. New England Mutual even pay the annual bonus on their behalf, it’s as easy as opening an account and choosing the organisation they’d like to see receive a cash bonus”, he said.
The CPA was introduced in 2009 allowing New England Mutual’s members to play a part in community giving, actively choosing where they wish to see the money go.
“CPA’s have really taken off since they were introduced in 2009. Our members receive a competitive interest rate whilst giving to the local community, and local charities really benefit as a result,” he said. The nominated organisations receive a figure equivalent to one per cent of members’ average annual balances.
