The week of competition  commences on Sunday, September 21 and ends with presentations on Saturday, September 27.

Some new members will travel in from Thursday Island, Brisbane and Sydney to compete and the club will welcome visitors from as far away as Perth, Western Australia.

The pony club has 33 riders and is supported by 23 adult members. 

“A big thank you has to go out to all those involved in the hard work that was required. A special thanks to everyone for their donations,” club treasurer Virginia Heron said.

“The new committee members are all working together to provide an enjoyable and fun time for all participants at this camp, and also for the weekend in October. And our cook, Janelle Ridgewell from Bundarra, is endeavouring to provide an excellent menu.”

The weekend of October 25-26 will actually begin on Friday October 24, with Bundarra Central School horse sports. The Bundarra Pony Club interclub will be held on the Saturday and Sunday the club will host the Zone 13 Campdraft Championships, which will also include a blue jeans sporting day, along with a stockhorse challenge.
