THE Nundle community is doing its bit to rid the Peel River of carp this weekend with its inaugural Nundle to Chaffey Dam Carp Muster.
Organised by the Nundle Fishing Club and Upper Peel Landcare, the muster welcomes everyone, with more than $3000 prize money and other prizes up for the hooking.

HUNDREDS of University of New England students will march in protest this morning against the closure of Robb College next month.
More than 500 students representing each of the university’s colleges are expected to turn out for the rally, sparked by last week’s shock announcement that Robb College would be closed at the end of trimester two and its residents relocated to Drummond and Smith.

The sudden sacking of Adelaide Crows coach Brenton Sanderson has sent the AFL world into a spin.
Sanderson's sacking comes nine months after the club extended his contract for two seasons.
He finishes up his coaching career at the Adelaide Crows with a 39-30 win-loss record and a 56.5 winning percentage - higher than any other coach of the club.
