The Gilgai dog show was hit on Saturday night by thieves who absconded with various items and cash.
In Inverell, vandals smashed windows at Inverell High School between Friday night and Sunday morning.
Ross Hill Public School was also vandalised on Friday night.
Three windows were broken, plus police said the school was entered and paint splashed on the carpet of several classrooms.
A pet goldfish was also killed at the school.
The Inverell Times building was broken into from a rooftop window between Friday night and Monday morning.
Staff arrived yesterday morning and found cleaning products had been spilled across the floor in the old press area, and files and papers had been scattered around the space.
Meanwhile, on Friday morning, a 66-year-old woman returned a reading of nearly four times the legal limit, when she was flagged for a random breath test.
The woman’s license was suspended and she was charged with driving with a high range blood alcohol limit.
She will appear before Inverell Local Court at a later date.
