Chloe’s mum Cheryl said the regional modelling competition was a great opportunity for girls to boost their confidence and deportment.
It offered girls the chance to interact and soak up a little limelight on the catwalk.
“It’s all about a bit of fun,” she said. “The organisers promote a lot of motivational stuff for the girls before they go out.”
Chloe said she enjoyed the modelling experience, surrounded by fellow regional girls looking to strut their stuff.
“We had to do a group model, and then we had to do a single and all the girls went in and that was the first round and then we did practically the same thing for the second round,” she said.
The competition has been marked by an on-again-off-again schedule in previous years, entering recess in 2013 before picking up again earlier this month.
Chloe said she will be keen to enter again next year, continuing to catch the public eye and build her social confidence.
In 2012, Chloe bagged a half page spread in C Girl Magazine as part of the Director’s Choice award. This year she was in the running again for a spot in the magazine’s limelight.
As the hype winds down again, the Miss Country Girl institution is calling on regional girls to consider entering next year.
