Registrations take place at Kamilaroi Park on February 7, 14 and 21 from 10am to 1pm or people may register online through the league Facebook page. Regos for the under 8 players is $45 and includes their shorts and socks. Registrations for 8 to 16 years are $85 for the first child, $80 for a second child and $75 for the third.
The season begins in early March with finals scheduled around the first week of September.
The League is throwing a Seafood Night at the Aussie Hotel on Friday, February 27 with all proceeds going support the teams. Tickets are $50 for the 6.30pm dinner and tickets are available at the Aussie Hotel.
Club publicity officer Cindy Coles has children who have been part of the Minor League and said it was a great experience for this kids with many positive assets.
“Friends, teamship, ball control, skills. The excitement every week of going,” she said.
“I’m trying to make it not just about the players; I want to make it a fun atmosphere for all the family.”
The league is also looking for adults interested in coaching, especially for the East’s teams. Training and support will be provided by experienced coaches.
