The 19-year-old, driving a silver Holden Commodore, crashed through two fences before being stopped by police in Borthwick Street in south Inverell at 3.10am Thursday.
Following a positive roadside breath test the woman was arrested and taken to Inverell Police Station for a breath analysis, which police said returned a high reading.
The 19-year-old woman has also been charged with driving unaccompanied and driving an unregistered vehicle.
Her learner’s licence has been suspended and she will appear before Inverell Local Court on March 19.
