It was good hearing from Jackie Watts and Di Baker as hosts for the event who also introduced the first speaker – Robyn Hitchcock – whose photography is on exhibit in the Gallery. A most inspiring woman who has done wonderful work in Mongolia in particular. Hannah Worsley is a wonderful young woman currently studying for her HSC at Inverell High School but also participating in speeches and debates and gave a wonderful perspective on the role of females in our society – an inspiring future for women in our society.
We were all also asked what changes we would like to see in Inverell which offered a range of suggestions.
