During this time we have had the pleasure of getting a real feel for your community. The hospital and nursing staff in the palliative care area at Inverell hospital have been professional, respectful and caring.

They catered for all our mothers needs with dignity and also ensured that all the visiting family members were accommodated and able to access information and assistance when required.

As well as this, we found the time to have a wonderfully sophisticated coffee at the Union Bar each morning and to give ourselves a bit of a break we wondered through the shopping centre. The were some terrific bargains to be had and the customer service was a credit to your town.

As a lasting memory we made a significant purchase at the Inverell art gallery where my mother was dearly loved and she in turn loved being there. Thank you Inverell for making a potentially grim experience into a memorable and supportive one.
