INVERELL has been represented by some dedicated poppy makers in the incredible display now carpeting Federation Square in Melbourne. One hundred poppies were sent from Inverell as part of the massive project.

Melbourne woman Lynn Berry was the catalyst for the display which was first meat to be a commemoration unique to her father.
The project has grown to include 250,000 handmade poppies from across Australia and overseas, many accompanied by their own tributes and stories. The blooms are woven into one massive carpet which will soon be tour.
