The two heifers, which are red and white in colour and between 24 and 36 months of age, were placed in the paddock on May 10.
A muster of the stock on June 8 found the count two short.
The two heifers have a green tag fitted on the left ear bearing the hand-written numbers 283 and 281.
The right ear has a rectangle ear mark out of the top of the ear, and an inverted L out of the bottom of the ear.
The heifers are branded with a dot MK on the near-side rump.
Further mustering and the checking of paddocks and inquiry with neighbours have failed to locate any sign of the missing cattle.
The two heifers are valued at approximately $1600 and were in good condition.
The matter was reported to the police on July 20.
Investigators from the New England Rural Crime Unit are keen to speak with any person who may be able to assist with any information in relation to the missing stock, or any person who has been sighted acting suspiciously in or around the Pineleigh Lane of Poolbrook Road area at Nullamanna.
