Marcus Allan Finch appeared in Inverell Local Court last Thursday morning but did not enter a plea to the charge of knowingly taking part in the supply of a prohibited drug.
Magistrate Michael O'Brien adjourned the case for a month to allow Finch extra time to consider his pleas.
He remains on conditional bail. The 24-year-old was arrested by police from the New England Target Action Group in Inverell in July.
Police allege he supplied 3.4kg of cannabis between July and October, last year.
Finch was the fourth arrest by investigators attached to Strike Force Ansae. The covert operation was set up in June, 2014, and is one of the largest drug investigations undertaken by New England police, involving Armidale detectives, TAG officers and investigators from the State Crime Comm-and's drug squad.
The two alleged ringleaders of the drug ring remain behind bars charged with supplying more than 4700 ecstasy tablets, cocaine and cannabis.
