Centre manager Cheree Milgate said the event delivered an enjoyable evening. “We managed to raise $60 for cancer research,” she said.
“It’s been nice to walk around and look at all the products from our small businesses in Inverell.”
Five local businesses set up stalls at the event to show what was on offer for mums to pamper themselves.
“We had more than 20 turn up for the evening, and it has been an enjoyable night,” Cheree said.
“The ladies walked around and got some makeup, hairdressing, fashion and jewellery tips.”
Centre director Evelyn Harrington had a makeover by Ashleigh Falconer, who used Napoleon makeup from Campbell and Freebairn.
“I love makeup,” Evelyn admitted.
