Inverell Senior Cricket Association held their annual meeting last week with the following Executive announced for the 2016-17 season. Steve de Gunst was elected president for his second term and Brendon Campbell is treasurer.

Simon Smith holds the secretary role with Ross and Kyle Chilcott elected vice-presidents. David Szumowski and Ben Middlebrook attended as Cricket NSW representatives. David, a former local is now cricket development leader for Northern NSW and Newcastle Cricket executive officer, felt favourably toward local cricket and offered support for expanding the game.
Prior to the season commencing on Saturday, October 8, a weekend has been allocated for an umpires course. The venue will be Varley Oval Club Rooms on September 17-18. Please direct enquiries for the course to Steve de Gunst on 0423 090 774.
