In the last three months, we have travelled to Mudgee, Gilgandra, Forster, Ulladulla, Gosford, Sydney and Tamworth on numerous occasions. From this, Tyler has been fortunate enough to be picked as a member of the NSW CHS state touch team.
This competition will be held next week in Narrabeen at the Sydney Sports Academy. This is a great achievement for Tyler, of which he is both proud and honoured.
As you can imagine, with sporting levies, associated fees, uniforms, accommodation, travel and time off work, it can all add up to a great expense. The purpose of this letter is to greatly thank all of those who have helped in some way to get Tyler to Narrabeen next week.
In the last week of last term, a barbecue was held for Tyler at the school, and we would like to thank Inverell High School, Dan Lennon from Lennon’s Butchery, Tom Taber from Sapphire City Butchery, Ron Myler from Macintyre Hot Bread, Shane Edmonds, Holly Akhurst and the Clontarf students.
We would also like tot hank Penny Colley, the Inverell High School P and C Association, Stuart from Campbell’s Fuel, Brock from Sportspower, Marshall Blair, the Inverell Junior Touch Association and Anaiwan Local Aboriginal Land Council for their donations.
Thank you also to Lou Deans and the girls at the Post Office for their support of Tyler and their understanding in shift and holiday changes, and in covering shifts and sometimes working short so that we could travel with Tyler to these events.
Once again, thank you to all of the above. Please accept this as our personal thanks and know that your kindness and help is greatly appreciated.
