Weather fluctuations have brought steady rain to the district and for some producers, a welcome flow of moisture to the fields. Inverell weather stations captured about 50mm of precipitation over the week up to Thursday. The Macintyre spilled an apron of river onto its grassy banks, and the river thundered over the spillway at Campbell Park, but the river height held steady at 1.69m.
