Wednesday’s wrap-up saw the Germany under 15s team remaining undefeated, according to organiser Heinrich Haussler.
“The German team are undefeated and they have not considered one goal… that has never happened before,” he said.
The competition is set to kick-off again with the under 9s competing on the artificial fields at 2pm on Thursday.
Meanwhile at the Indoor Centre, sporting stars from disability organisations braved the wet at the showground before seeking cover indoors.
Brighter Access coordinator Abby Hooker said it is fortunate that the players can still compete after the rain threatened to cancel the event on Thursday.
“These guys hangout all year for this competition so for them to be able to still play is fantastic.
“We’ve got four teams playing, two from Brighter Access, one from Connections and one from Glen Industries,” she said.
“They all get to come in and play in the World Cup like everyone else does which is really cool.
“It’s the biggest competition that these guys have had.
“We expect this will grow, we’ve had interest from Armidale and other centres in the region to start bringing their teams across.”
