Local groups and individuals have been invited to get into the spirit of things for the festival’s 60th anniversary.
Festival chairman Paul Harmon said the committee is looking forward to seeing the creativity and diversity of the floats and hopes that this will be the biggest parade to date.
“The parade is a highlight of the festival and we cannot wait to see what creations the community comes up with,” he said.
Nomination forms are available from Tourism Inverell in Campbell Street. Businesses are encouraged to decorate their windows for the Diamond Jubilee.
