It is a joint initiative between Inverell Shire Council and Inverell Macintyre Lions Club and allows residents to have e-waste items collected from their kerbside for free.
E-waste includes all electronic items, such as whitegoods, televisions, computers, kitchen appliances and any other items that can be plugged in.
Last year’s program collected everything from washing machines to sewing machines, vacuum cleaners, hairdryers and coffee machines.
The collection extends to all households in town limits.
Residents wishing to participate must register their address and waste details with the council by November 9 on (02) 6728 8200 between 8:30am - 4:30pm.
