Round seven of the McDonalds Inverell District Cricket Association was completed last Saturday with Campbell & Freebairn and Staggy Creek comfortable winners.

Campbell & Freebairn played RSM and sent the clubmen in to bat after winning the toss. Promising colt Ben Ellis took two wickets in his first three overs to give the Rebels a flying start.
The introduction of spin with Richard Wilson proved a masterstroke with the tweaker hitting an immediate length and claiming two wickets in his opening over. This trend continued and after six overs he had captured 5-33 to have RSM in disarray.
Troy Hill took 2-11 off six and RSM after being 9-68 fought back to make 106, all out. Jaxon Stafford was their top scorer with 23.
Campbell & Freebairn took up the challenge but Todd Hughes had plans to thwart their run chase with two early wickets.
Blake Uebergang held the team together with a solid 33 and at 4-81 Rebels supporters had a feeling of celebration. This was put on hold as they slumped to 7-94.
The second A grade encounter was a cakewalk for Staggy Creek when they rolled Tattersalls Rats with ease.
The experience of Brendon Campbell saw them over the line and at 7-111 they claimed first innings points. Campbell remained 18 not out and Reynolds chipped in with 14.

Rats were all out for 52 and Staggy achieved the win at one down for 56. No individual scores were available by publication.
In B grade, Invincibles scored a solid win over Tingha. Batting first, Invincibles made 7-164 with Timothy Torgau making 36 and Nick Kellner scored 31. Jason Muhs contributed 27 to the cause.
For Tingha, Corey Ingleby and Lex Livermore took two wickets each.
In reply, Tingha could muster just 72 with Troy McLachlan the destroyer taking 5-25. Scott Peterson claimed 2-14.
