Children aged 7 to 12 are encouraged to take up what is cricket at a fun, accessible level which can seed their interest in the game for a lifetime. The Inverell Milo T20 Blast cricket series begins this evening at Brooks Oval from 5-7pm. Inverell T20 convenor Colin Starkey said they still have spots in the series, which skills up children from scratch or builds on prior experience.

”It will tailor to all abilities, for beginners to kids who have already been playing junior cricket,” Colin said.
He explained the goals for the eight week series were about teamwork and fun. “They actually get enjoyment out of it they get to learn new skills and learn to have fun, and grow a team environments,” he said.
