The New England Rural Crime Unit said the stolen sheep were valued at approximately $3000.
Police said the sheep were all accounted for in November 2016 when the lambs were yarded and counted marked.
When the stock were mustered at the end of January in relation to the weaning of lambs, the 50 lambs were identified as being missing.
Further mustering, checking of paddocks and inquires with neighbours failed to locate any sign of the missing sheep.
The missing sheep are station bred and all have an ear mark in the bottom of the nearside ear being a wine glass shape.
The lambs were September 2014 drop lambs.
