A teenage boy is facing court today after a number of alleged break-ins at Armidale and Inverell.

It is alleged the break-ins occurred in January and February.
The most recent of these was at the home of an 80-year-old woman at Inverell. The woman told police she was threatened with a garden tool before her jewellery was taken.
The teenager was arrested on Wednesday morning, February 22 at a house in Inverell.
The 17-year-old was charged with a number of offences including assault with intent to rob in company with wounding, receiving, two counts of aggravated break and enter, take and drive conveyance and robbery in company.
He was refused bail to appear in a children’s court today, Thursday February, 23.
Inquiries into the break-ins are continuing.
