Exploring the Australia’s changing rural architecture and echoing the iconic work of Tom Roberts, artist Christine Porter was thrilled to see around 120 visitors to the opening of her exhibit Shadowing Tom at the Inverell Art Gallery on Saturday.

People travelled from the Sunshine Coast, Lismore, Sydney, Port Macquarie, Goondiwindi to see her work.
“This exhibition has great historical significance to the Inverell area and we are thrilled to have it on display at the Inverell Art Gallery,” art gallery manager Jo Williams said.
The exhibition continues until Sunday, March 26. The gallery will open on that day from 9am to 2pm. Christine will be in the gallery throughout the day to meet with visitors.
Entry is by donation and lunch will be available to purchase.
