Cattle and sheep producers have been hit by stock thieves, with investigations underway.

New England Rural Crime Unit are currently investigating the theft of 21 Hereford and Hereford/Angus crossbred, mixed-sex weaners from the Rickeys Lane, Nullamanna area.
The cattle were all accounted for in December 2016 when they were weaned. The cattle were mustered on March 1, and it was identified that the numbers were down.
Further mustering, checking of paddocks and inquires with neighbours have failed to locate any sign of the missing cattle.
The missing cattle are station-bred. They have a NLIS tag fitted to their offside ear. There is an ear mark of a diamond out of the bottom of the nearside ear. The majority of the cattle were red and white with a couple of black and white cattle in the mob which has been taken.
Cattle are valued at approximately $30,000.
Investigators from the New England Rural Crime Unit are keen to speak with any person who may be able to assist with any information in relation to the missing cattle or any person who has been sighted acting suspiciously in or around Rickeys Lane or Emmaville Road at Nullamanna.
New England Rural Crime Unit are also currently investigating the theft of 35, 18-month-old Merino ewes from the Elsmore area.
The sheep were all accounted for in September 2016 when they were drenched and counted. The stock was again mustered the following month and 35 were found missing.
Further mustering, checking of paddocks and inquires with neighbours have failed to locate any sign of the missing sheep.
The missing sheep are station-bred. All have an ear-mark in the bottom of the offside ear being two vertical splits in the ear.
When taken the sheep also had an NLIS tag with the Number NB330388. The sheep are valued at approximately $4200.
Investigators from the New England Rural Crime Unit are keen to speak with any person who may be able to assist with any information in relation to the missing sheep or any person who has been sighted acting suspiciously in or around Paradise Road at Elsmore.
