Starting out at the centre in its early days, nominated supervisor Evelyn Harrington said it was a wonderful place to work.
“It’s very warm and friendly place,” she said.
“It’s the best job in the world. It’s never boring. Every day is different. We have a lot of laughs, the kids are fantastic fun.”
Many current children are following in their parents’ footsteps.
“It makes you feel really old!” Mrs Harrington said, but added “It’s good to know they enjoyed it that much that they’re bringing kids back”.
Farewelling the centre after 12 years as its director this Friday, Mrs Harrington said it will be hard to say goodbye.
