Inverell RSL pays tributes to the veterans of modern conflict

Anzac day has become a defining part of Australia’s identity, but there are many veterans of more recent conflicts who continue to serve the country. Inverell RSL paid tribute to these veterans on Saturday in a meaningful but simple ceremony at the Cenotaph.

Wreaths were laid to commemorate those who bravely served since the Vietnam War in places such as East Timor, Iraq and Afghanistan in the ongoing “War on Terror”.
