The Hawks have had a tremendous history of successful junior teams, thanks largely to the mentoring provided through the respective age groups by the Inverell Minor League Hawks.
This was evident again recently with the Inverell 16s winning the 2017 premiership.
Four members of that side, Ethan Campbell, Liam Lazar, Jack McAuliffe and Josh McLachlan will be key figures in the Hawks outfit tomorrow.
Nik House and Will McAuliffe will be participating in their third consecutive junior grand final for the Hawks, and they will play a significant part in the result of this match.
These two along with Jack Hukins and Noah Mallory have gained considerable first grade experience this year, and this will be invaluable in assisting the younger members of the team during the match.
Tingha will head into the match as firm favourites, having defeated the Hawks twice during the regular season, and then scoring a convincing win in the major semi final a fortnight ago.
Inverell will be hoping that the fortnight between matches will work to Tingha’s detriment, especially with the warm weather predicted for Boggabilla tomorrow.
The confidence gained by the Hawks from a very tough physical encounter against Armidale last weekend, and the character they displayed will have them primed for the 11am kick off tomorrow.
