Pacific sports management has confirmed the rugby league clinic will come to Inverell on the October 5 2017, with plans to come again in 2018 and 2019.
It is the first time an event of this standing has been conducted Inverell.
Mayor of Inverell Shire Council Paul Harmon states “Inverell has some of the best sporting facilities in regional NSW and any opportunity that we have to showcase them, whilst offering an event of this calibre for the benefit of young people is something that council is very passionate about”.

“We are certain this is going to be the start of a long partnership between Pacific sports management and the Inverell council and we are committed to growing this event into a major event on the Inverell event calendar.”
The event will be conducted at Varley Oval, Inverell and is expected to attract up to 200 rugby league players on the day. PSM Clinics provides an opportunity for junior athletes to participate in a Rugby League clinic created by senior Professional Coaches such as Former Penrith, NSW and Australian Rugby League player and now assistant coach at Manly Sea Eagles, John Cartwright.
The PSM Clinic will be a school holiday-based opportunity for junior rugby league players in various age groups looking to expand their rugby league skill base and knowledge.
These programs will help junior players develop fundamental skills and act as a small showcase to identify elite junior Players. Elite junior players identified by PSM scouts, displaying traits of high character and talent during these camps will be invited to join the PSM Academy and reap the benefits of elite development.

PSM manage the careers of some of the biggest rugby league stars like Daly Cherry-Evans, Nate Myles, Jason Taumalolo, Valentine Holmes, Nathan Ross, Kane Elgey and BJ Lawrence.
PSM provide a pathway for all players who are wishing to be identified.
