The ambrose tournament attracted 56 competitors comprising 14 teams of four players each.
Teams came from Moree, Armidale, Inverell and other northern NSW towns while one group traveled down from Goondiwindi for the day.
“It’s great to see so many ladies from across the region enjoying the event,” president of the Inverell Ladies Golf Committee Sue Urquhart said. “We had great weather, no wind and lots of fun.”
Glen Innes will now compete in the NSW finals to be held in the Hunter Valley, February 2018.
