With the lights turned down and streamers hung up, Kindamindi became a magical grotto on Wednesday as little children with butterfly wings, princess dresses and Batman costumes gathered around tables adorned with fairy lights.

The preschoolers were enchanted with the spectacle as they took part in the International Fairy Tea Party, created to connect with children around the world through play and imagination. Bubble blowers, cupcakes and honeycomb added to the fun.
Kaylee said the best thing about fairies was their glitter.
“Fairies always wear glitter, and they have their wand and can get glitter from their wand,” Digby said.
Tom came dressed as Spider-man so that he could save the world. Seth, who was a vampire fairy, said he liked that fairies could fly.
