Ongoing: Inverell Art Gallery – The Inverell Art Prize exhibition, themed ‘Sporting Spirit’, is open until November 9. Cost is a gold coin donation, and opening hours are 10am to 5pm, Monday-Friday, 10am-1pm Saturday.
Masonic Hall, Otho Street – The Inverell Rotary Club’s annual book sale runs from September 28-30. Opens 5pm-9pm Thursday, 8.30am-5pm Friday and 8.30am-2pm Saturday.

Monday, October 2: A three day junior tennis camp will be run from Monday-Wednesday, 9am-2pm. Held under the tuition of coach Bill McDonald, children of all ages and abilities are welcome. The cost is $30 a day or $75 for the three days. For families with more than one child, a 20 per cent discount is offered for each additional child. To learn more, call the club on 6722 4117.

Friday, October 6: Inverell Indoor Centre, Ring Street – A school holiday sports day with indoor netball and soccer hosted by Armajun, the Linking Together Centre and the local police liaison.
