The Westpac Rescue Helicopter overnight transferred a 3-year-old boy from Inverell Hospital to Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital in a stable condition.
The boy sustained a head laceration in a quad bike accident at Delungra late yesterday afternoon.
A 13-year-old boy, who was also involved, was initially transported by ambulance to Inverell Hospital, but was cleared of any further injuries.
5pm: Two boys have been injured in a quad bike accident at Delungra.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter has been tasked on a primary mission to Inverell Hospital to meet with an ambulance transporting a 13-year-old boy and a three-year-old.
It’s understood both boys sustained injuries from a quad bike accident at Delungra.
Both boys appear to have minor injuries.
