The Under 9s took to the fields at Inverell Sports Complex today as two teams from Inverell and two teams from Toowoomba faced-off in a series of non-competitive games.

“All U9s had at least two games each,” organiser Heinrich Haussler said.
Also making their mark on the day’s event were four special needs team with a mixture of ages.
Glen Innes Industries, Brighter Access, and two Connections teams battled it out ending the day with Brighter Access in the lead. More games will decide the winner tomorrow.
Friday will see the older age groups return for the semi-final and final rounds that will see the five-days of competition come to an end ahead of a night of awards and celebrations.
