The fourth annual Variety Postie Dash saw the largest group of bikers yet, with 39 ‘posties’ delivering a cheque for $3000 during the 1400km round trip, which started in Newcastle on Sunday, returning on Friday.
The gang mostly stick to the back roads, and have had plenty of fun already this year after stopping in at North Haven, Inverell and Armidale to name a few.
Last year the event raised $138,000 for kids in need, and Variety Events Manager Stuart Telfer is expecting even more this time around.

“It’s a great little event that is helping a lot of kids each year,” Mr Telfer said.
