The play, which will be performed at the Inverell Town Hall on Saturday, November 10, includes a cast of approximately 50 children ranging in age from three to 17.
Organiser Rolande Hooklyn said the cast has been rehearsing since July.
The full dress rehearsals will be held at the Town Hall every day next week.
Rolande said the first half of the show at the Town Hall would include former students of hers, including singers and dancers.
She said some of them had gone onto study dancing full time.
Asked what she enjoyed most about these productions, Rolande said seeing the children improve was rewarding.
“I enjoy seeing the children grow in confidence; I love it. And finally seeing it all come together.
“I love the input the children have on the show and I love the colours that come to life,” she said.
The performance on November 10 starts at 6pm. Tickets are available at the door and cost $18 for adults and $15 for children.
