The council hopes to use the answers to evaluate and improve on efforts to end violence against women in Inverell and its surrounds.
All responses will be treated confidentially and anonymously. To participate, visit www.inverell.nsw.gov.au/14-community/community/575-white-ribbon-community.html.
The data is being collected and analysed by White Ribbon Australia.
Hoping to keep educating the community on violence-related issues, the council will also host a White Ribbon movie night at Campbell Park tonight, starting at 5:30pm.
Organised by the Community Violence Prevention Team, local drama clubs will perform skits and the film Inside Out will be screened. A barbecue and drinks will be provided. All ages are welcome. Information on local support services will also be provided.
For more information on the survey, contact Liam Dooley at White Ribbon Australia on (02) 9045 8415 or email liam.dooley@whiteribbon.org.au.
