There was a larger yarding of 5,782 sheep, including 3,660 lambs. The yarding of lambs consisted of a good supply of trade weights and heavy and extra heavy lambs were also in good numbers. Quality was good with a large percentage of lambs off crop. Competition remained strong with most lambs selling unchanged. There were some light weight lambs that went to restockers at slightly easier prices.

The yarding of mutton was made up of several consignments of medium weight ewes and wethers carrying a good skin. The market eased for most mutton, despite the line-up of good quality sheep.
