Registrations are going fast, with only seven places left in the Roar Active program.
“It’s a coaching clinic to improve the kids’ skills and to have a good time,” Soccer Association president Anthony Alliston said.
Brisbane Roar ran a similar program in Inverell last year.
“The kids had an awesome time,” Alliston said. He said the Brisbane Roar were very good with the young players, and said it was great they were willing to travel to give country kids such an exciting opportunity.
“It creates that bit of excitement and encourages them in the game,” he said.
The clinic costs $77 per child and will run from 9am to 12pm on Thursday and Friday this week.
To register, visit the Brisbane Roar website. Children are asked to bring runners, boots, shin pads, a water bottle, healthy snacks and a hat.
