An invitation to all Inverell Hawks old boys, their wives, families and friends has been issued to meet at the upstairs function room of the Denis Hogan Pavillion for an all-day event where memorabilia displays, drink tickets and a little nostalgia will be shared.
But there will be a serious note on the day as the old boys judge who will receive this year’s Terry Trim Medal.
“It’s a much sought after prize,” an Inverell Hawks club spokesperson said.
The winner will be chosen from the players competing in the first grade match between Inverell and Warialda kicking off at the oval at 2.30pm.
The last match of the day, it will be preceded by the Inverell versus Warialda Girls League Tag at 11am; the Under 18 juniors clash between Inverell and Narrabri at 12noon; and the Reserve Grade Inverell versus Warialda match starting at 1.15pm.
