Running from Tuesday to Thursday, 196 players from 12 different zones will vie for their chance in the finals.
Gum Flat’s Jarrod White will be one to look out for, playing as the goalkeeper for the North West side.
“A very confident, very talented young boy, and this is the second year that he’s played in the state cup,” local co-ordinator Mick Migheli said.
“For him it’s a great moment, getting to play in front of his family and friends.”
Migheli said organisers were impressed with the “spectacular” venue, and considered it one of the best in several years.
“The clubhouse, having that there’s been a bonus, and just having the fields in such a great condition that the Inverell Shire Council have prepared for us,” he said.
All are welcome to come and watch, and Migheli promised three days of very high level soccer.
