The Inverell Saints men’s team have lost the ‘do or die’ preliminary final in devastating fashion to the inform New England Nomads.  The Nomads were strengthened by the return of key players whilst the Saints were struck hard by injuries to 3 key players early in the game.  The Nomads snuck to a 10 point lead at quarter time, but scores were level pegging for the next two quarters. It was the Nomads that came home with the wet sail and took advantage of the injury depleted Saints team – crushing their Grand Final hopes. Final Score: Nomads 18.4.112 to Saints 10.12.72 Goal Kickers: R.
