CCIA NSW is the top industry organisation for the Camping and Caravanning industry in the state, with the awards recognising outstanding businesses within the caravan, camping and holiday parks market.
The management of Copeton Waters is overseen by the NSW Crown Holiday Parks Trust (NSWCHPT), which also manages the operations of North Coast Holiday Parks (NCHP) and South Coast Holiday Parks (SCHP).
Four other parks under the NSWCHPT banner were also named as finalists at the upcoming awards night to be held at Luna Park on October 16:
· NCHP Moonee Beach and NCHP Evans Head are finalists in the Best North Coast Park (more than 100 sites) category
· IWHP Burrinjuck Waters is a finalist in the Best Inland Park (more than 100 sites) category
· SCHP Eden is a finalist in the Best South Coast Park (more than 100 sites) category
Copeton Waters Manager David Allan said he was honoured to hear the news of the park’s finalist nod, which follows their win in the same category at the 2016 CCIA NSW Awards of Excellence.
“The entire staff and management at Copeton are thrilled to again make the CCIA NSW Awards finals,” David said.
“We were fortunate to win this award last year and were also finalists in this category in 2015. Copeton Waters is a dynamic business that my staff and myself take great pride in, this nomination is a team effort and I thank my staff for all their hard work throughout the year.”
NSWCHPT Steve Edmonds called the finalist nod a great achievement for the organisation, saying it was an honour for the park to be recognised by esteemed industry peers.
“These nominations and win over the last three years are a great representation of the hard work and dedication of David and his team on the ground at Copeton,” Mr Edmonds said.
“Recognition from such a highly regarded industry body as CCIA NSW is great motivation to build upon our group wide commitment to an unrivalled level of customer service for guests at our parks and signals our devotion to providing the quintessential Aussie holiday experience in some of the most amazing locations across NSW.”
Mr Edmonds passed on his best wishes to David and his team and said he looked forward to hearing the results on the night.
