It’s raining, it’s pouring and in fact – Inverell had forged its way out of a long dry winter into twice its average monthly rainfall for October by 9am Friday the 13th. Unlucky? Perhaps not if you enjoy have something new to talk about when it comes to the weather. To be precise, Bureau of Meteorolgy readings show Invervell had received 135mm of rain by the end of October’s second week, compared to the usual total monthly average of 66.5mm. The forecast predicts more rain over the weekend and again later next week.
