A familiar rumble will fill the air on Saturday, December 9 as motorcyclists around the region gear up for the Inverell Salvation Army Toy Run.

A poker run will add to the fundraiser, which aims to collect gifts for local underprivileged children.

The run starts from 10am at the Australian Cafe. New toys can be dropped off at FDB’s, Ditton’s Pharmacy, the Wade Street Store, the Imperial Hotel and Inverell Motorcycles prior to the event.

Costing $25, registration for the poker run begins at 8.45am. The trip will be approximately 200km, and will include a lunch stop at Wallaroo Hotel in Coolatai, and end at the Imperial Hotel in Inverell.
